Samoa misses out on seasonal worker pilot scheme  By Lance Polu Samoa is not part of the Australian Pacific Seasonal Worker Pilot Scheme that recruits labourers from the Pacific islands to work for up to seven months a year in the horticulture industry. A press statement from the Australian High Commission in Apia says that the Pacific Seasonal Worker Pilot Scheme will see up to 2,500 workers from Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Tonga and Vanuatu participate in a three year pilot and work for up to seven months a year in the horticulture industry in regional Australia. Manu Samoa Sevens Captain nominated again  Manu Samoas Sevens Captain, Uale Mai has been nominated for the second time as the IRBs player of the year. He won that accolade in 2006 and remains the circuits most capped player. He is against a South African player and the All Blacks Sevens captain DJ Forbes. The player will be named 23 November.
