More flights approved under State of Emergency for rest of 2021
APIA, SAMOA – 05 JUNE 2021: The latest amendment to the State of Emergency Orders has listed the approved incoming and outgoing flights up until 22 December 2021. The amended orders dated 4 June 2021 lists the June flights starting with the Saturday 5 June charted flight from Australia to take Seasonal Workers to work in there and the second flight scheduled for 15 June, as well as July.

Repatriation flight facilitated by Air New Zealand flying directly from Los Angeles for New Zealand, and on to Samoa to bring in passengers who have been stuck in the United States and Europe since December 2020.

- Flights between Australia and Samoa
- There will be chartered flights between Australia and Samoa via the Samoa Airways. These flights will travel the Apia-Nukualofa-Brisbane-Nukualofa-Apia route.
- These flights will be facilitated under the Australia Pacific Flights Program and are scheduled to commence July 2021, or at a suitable time. It is mandatory to follow ALL Health Regulations for Samoa.

- Purse Seiners fishing boats may dock at Matautu wharf not more than 120 hours for transshipment, the offloading of fish and restocking of supplies before leaving Samoa;
- Long Liners fishing boats whose cargo are between 100-130tons, may dock at the Matautu wharf not more than 72hours for the offloading of fish and restocking of supplies before leaving Samoa;
- Continue to liaise with the Ministry of Health to ensure that all health requirements concerning the protection of Samoa from COVID-19 are adhered to.

- Cabinet has approved one trip for the transport of passengers on Sunday from Upolu to Savaii at 3pm; and from Savaii to Upolu at 5pm.
