Health confirms Samoa’s first COVID related death

APIA, SAMOA – 31 MARCH 2022: Samoa has recorded its first COVID-19 related death on 30 March 2022, 13 days after the first community case was detected on 17 March 2022.

The Ministry of Health confirmed the death today as a 67 year old male who had multiple comorbidities.

He died shortly after he was admitted at the Lalomanu District Hospital yesterday.
