Police investigate Defamation Complaint Against Australian Based Samoan Radio Host

APIA, SAMOA – 07 JULY 2022: Police confirm they are investigating a complaint alleging defamation against the host of an Australian based Samoan language radio talks programme.

Police also confirm that they are working on finalizing their information before any charge or charges are laid against the accused.

The accused is based in Sydney, Australia and is currently attending the Methodist Church annual conference at Faleula. He operates and hosts talk shows on the Samoa Toe Faaolaola (Samoa Come Alive- Beat of Samoa) Radio/TV programme which are streamed on line and had been vocal against the ruling FAST Government leaders and the FAST party.
