As the world slowly recovers and gets used to living with the pandemic, Melbourne has held the title for the longest lockdown in the world.
It gave rise to the theme “Rise with Faith, Tula’i ma le Fa’atuatua” for the Miss Samoa Victoria’s return to hosting their annual pageant.
The Miss Samoa Victoria’s winner will be competing in this year’s Miss Samoa Pageant in Samoa as part of the upcoming Teuila Festival in September.
Six young Samoan tama’ita’i from the state of Victoria are vying for the Miss Samoa Victoria crown on the 13 of August in Melbourne, where the winner will then travel with the committee to Samoa.
Each contestant is excited and looking forward to learning, showcasing, and celebrating their Samoan culture throughout this pageant.
