Head of State Representing Samoa at HM Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral

APIA, SAMOA – 15 SEPTEMBER 2022: The Head of State, Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi 11 and Faletua Faamausili Leinafo will represent Samoa at Queen Elizabeth 11’s funeral on 19 September.

The Acting Prime Minister, Tuala Iosefo Ponifasio confirmed that the Head of State’s delegation have departed Apia on a Qantas flight and have been invited to join the Australian Government’s delegation on a chartered flight to England.

Traveling with the Head of State is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of the Prime Minister, Agafili Shem Leo, Assistant CEO for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Desna Solofa and the Head of States Aide-de-camp, Inspector Norman Tuafale Meni.
