UPDATE: Police woman’s death – former Police Officer charged with murder

APIA, SAMOA – 24 DECEMBER 2022: A former police officer has been charged with murder over the alleged death of a 31 year old police woman early this morning.

Police Commissioner, Auapaau Logoitino Filipo told Talamua that police have obtained a pistol alleged to have been used to commit the crime.

No further details have been disclosed as police investigation continues.

The accused is currently under police custody awaiting his appearance when Court resumes early next year.

Early today, police confirmed the incident through their Facebook page and the death of the police woman.
