Opening of Lotofaga Primary Computer Lab and launch of PacifiCode Project

Tuesday 25th April 2023 – Lotofaga Primary School, Upolu, Samoa

The opening of the computer lab and project has a focus on using culturally sensitive pedagogy/education to teach indigenous learners (students aged between 8-14 years old) how to be computer programmers and all other digital technology through STEM learning.

This project will also focus on professional development of teachers to better understand and utilize digital technology, which will elevate their digital literacy and to help support the sustainability of the project.
