Samoa’s Tifa Moana finishes fifth

APIA, SAMOA – 02 MAY 2023: Samoa’s National Netball Team, Tifa Moana have finished fifth overall at the PacificAus Sport Netball Series in Australia. Samoa defeated Kenya 59-51 in the final playoff for 5th after place after beating Singapore 74-54 in the semifinals.

Samoa had earlier narrowly missed out on the top four by points differential finishing third in Pool A.

Captain Abigail Latu-Meafou was named Co-Most Valuable Player of the tournament alongside Tonga’s star Hulita Veve.
