Opening of 13 New Businesses at Fugalei Market

The Accident Compensation Corporation (“ACC”) administers the Market at Fugalei. ACC’s vision for its Produce Market is to have all the necessary amenities and services needed by local and overseas consumers available:

Official Opening is on Tuesday 9th April 2024 at 4:00pm

  1. The Honorable Prime Minister, Fiame Dr. Naomi Mataafa will deliver the Keynote Address to officially open the new businesses.
  2. The blessing service will be conducted by Rev. Komisi Samuelu (FS) of EFKS Fugalei Sisifo.
  3. The cutting of the riboon is by Professor Asiata Dr. Satupitea Viali
  4. The construction was by T & T Construction – Vainalepa Armar Tuli Taogaga
  5. The design and supervise was by Allen Sione

C4U Technologies &  Cash 4 U Finance Alexander Ah Tong  Repair and sells mobile and electronics and  provide loan services.
Eseta Pesamino Shop  Pesamino Taulua  Sells a variety of goods including services.

The Produce Market at Fugalei Currently sells:

  1. All sorts of agricultural products which include fruits and vegetables, root crops, fibers, wood, cooked umu food and sea food products.
  2. Lots of stalls that sell a variety of clothing, jewellery, carvings and artworks.
  3. There are 9 restaurants at the Food Court corner selling all sorts of freshly cooked food.
  4. Other services include Vodafone’s mobile services, ATM services by BSP, SCB and NBS as well as the registered Gambling Services for Lotto players.

The Accident Compensation Scheme:

5. Compensation and benefits are covered for all levy contributors who are injured or died from accidents.
