Apia, Samoa – 01 November 2024 – Retail Petroleum Product prices continue to drop for November.

Petrol decreases by 17.70 sene a litre, from $2.98 to $2.81 per litre. Diesel decreases by 21.20 sene, from $3.08 to $2.87 per litre and Kerosene is down by 16.90 sene per liter, from $2.68 last month to $2.51 per litre.

November prices are based on the September Mean of Platts Singapore ‘MOPS’ marker prices.

The Minister of Finance said the Israel/Palestine and Ukraine/Russia conflicts have not affected the crude oil prices as much as expected.

September crude and refined product prices fell due to concerns regarding the strength of the global economy, particularly in China. The OPEC coalition’s attempts to restrict crude oil supplies also failed to stop the falling prices.
