Apia, 05 November 2024 – Last Saturday, the Miss Samoa Alumni gathered to honour and celebrate their shared legacy and uplift the current titleholder, Litara Ieremia Alan. With heartfelt stories and shared experiences, the event showcased the power of sisterhood and the remarkable journey of Samoan women.

The event served not just as a reunion but as a poignant reminder of the beauty and magic inherent in being a Tamaitai Samoa.

The evening commenced with an uplifting blessing from Malietoa Moli Malietoa, who set a tone of gratitude and positivity.

In her response, Miss Samoa, Litara Ieremia Alan expressed her deep admiration for the women surrounding her. “As I sat at the table amongst many of my childhood icons, I was taken aback by the plethora of experience and talent. Each woman had overcome so much to be at that table yet sat there with boundless joy and kindness.”

Alan emphasized that her title was not solely her achievement but a shared legacy among all the remarkable women who have held the crown before her.

“I am honored to hold the Miss Samoa title not because I hold the platform alone but because of the greats that share it with me and with us, Samoa,” she stated.

The gathering transformed into a tapestry of shared stories, each one woven together to create a narrative of collective triumph and support.

As they shared a meal, each story resonated with themes of empowerment, resilience, and the unwavering spirit of Samoan women.
