$43 Million in 4% dividend payout to SNPF contributors

Apia, SAMOA – 02 February 2026 – The Minister of Finance, Mulipola Anarosa Ale Molio’o has announced a 4% dividend cash payout for all SNPF contributors to assist with the back-to-school preparation.
Mulipola said the 4% cash payout is from the $43,584,951 allocated to fund the scheme.
She said the Government notes the family needs and the payout is an incentive to assist with parents and families’ preparations for children’s return to school.
Payout process
The payout is paid to contributors through the SNPF portal that opened at 12.00am Sunday. The timeline for cash payout is three months from Monday 2 February to 30th April 2026.
After April, the money will be diverted to the contributor’s account.
Mulipola also clarified that contributors who have house, land and vehicle loans which are now under legal action will have their 4% payouts directed to help pay their loans.
There Samoa National Provident Fund, has 84,000 contributors and 35,000 are active to date.
