Police hold male for questioning in Togafu’afu’a daylight raid

Apia, Samoa – 24 July 2026 – The Samoa Police have held a male suspect for questioning in a daylight raid at Togafu’afu’a after 1.00 this afternoon.

Residents were drawn to police sirens then heavy Police and Customs vehicles and officers’ presence, first at a business complex at Tufuiopa, before moving swiftly to follow a male suspect who was on foot and making his way towards town. Armed police intercepted, handcuffed and transferred him to police headquarters for questioning.
