Apia, Samoa – 2 February 2026 – The price of petroleum products have decreased for February. The Minister of Finance announced the new prices that apply from 1st February 2026:

  • Petrol: decreases by 5.7 sene per litre, from $2.97 to $2.91
  • Diesel: decrease by 22.9 sene per litre, from $3.22 to $3.00
  • Kerosene: decrease by 18.7 sene per litre, from $2.85 to $2.66

February Retail Prices are based on December Cargo Uplifts from Singapore, delivered into Apia in January.

The Minister said that a combination of crude oil oversupply forecasts, high inventories, and slowing economic growth concerns combined to lead the market into a downward spiral during December 2025.

Added to this are recent political uncertainties, and the crude and refined product markets can expect further turbulence into 2026.
