The country’s petroleum supplier, Petroleum Supplies Limited (PPS) confirmed today that the current stock levels of fuel in Samoa covers 36 days for petrol, 28 days for diesel 66 days for kerosene.
The Chairperson of the Disaster Advisory Committee, Lealaisalanoa Frances Brown, also announced that the next shipment of petroleum is expected to arrive tomorrow, 4 July 2026.
Looking ahead, PPS has scheduled oil shipments arrivals for August 25, 2026, September 17-19 and October 20-23, 2026.

These regular deliveries are part of Samoa’s ongoing efforts to maintain fuel supplies and prevent shortages against the supply disruptions in the Middle East.
Lealaisalanoa said the government remains vigilant as it monitors ongoing global conflicts that could threaten Samoa’s fuel supply.
Due to these concerns, the country remains on Amber Level Alert.
This alert indicates that Samoa is watching the situation closely and is prepared to act if there are any immediate global crises.
Lealailesalanoa explained that the Disaster Advisory Committee will advise the government when it is safe to move from Amber to Green Alert when the circumstances improve.
Meanwhile, government ministries continue to operate with a limited number of five vehicles each and advising conserving electricity usage in the offices.
This does not include the vehicles used by Cabinet Ministers, which are separate from the general fleet.
