Samoa Airways Flight 990 diverged off the runway at Fitiuta Airport

Apia, SAMOA-29 July 2026- The Port Administration of American Samoa reports that today at around 10:37 a.m. (American-Samoa time), Samoa Airways Flight 990, a Twin Otter, landed on Runway 12 at Fitiuta Airport.

Shortly after landing, the plane diverged off the center of the runway.
