Ministry of Revenue Collects $83.5M in First Quarter of 2026/27 FY

Apia, SAMOA – 02 November 2026 – Cabinet has noted the Ministry of Revenue’s report on revenue collections for the first quarter of the 2026|2027 Financial Year.
The Ministry recorded total revenue collections of $83.5 million, exceeding the projected target of $8.35 million by $1 million. Revenue was primarily generated through taxation and business licensing fees.
Cabinet noted this positive performance reflects the continued resilience and stability of Samoa’s economy and demonstrates the Government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen domestic revenue collection.
