{"id":34396,"date":"2025-03-03T17:32:25","date_gmt":"2025-03-03T04:32:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/talamua.com\/?p=34396"},"modified":"2025-03-03T17:32:25","modified_gmt":"2025-03-03T04:32:25","slug":"prime-ministers-last-ditch-gamble-on-hrpp-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/talamua.com\/?p=34396","title":{"rendered":"Prime Minister\u2019s last-ditch gamble on HRPP support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Apia, Samoa \u2013 03 March 2025<\/strong> \u2013 In a last-minute gamble, Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mataafa met with the HRPP Leader this afternoon after the parliament session was cut short this morning as a second motion of no confidence in the Cabinet and Prime Minister is scheduled for voting tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0Talamua<\/em> understands, Fiame sought HRPPs support against the motion proposed by the FAST Party Leader, Laaulialemalietoa Leuatea Polataivao.<\/p>\n<p>Tuilaepa has already announced his support for the motion that is based on similar issues proposed his motion that was defeated in parliament last Tuesday.
