Apia, Samoa \u2013 23 October 2025<\/strong> – The Election Court will deliver its decision on the Safata 1 electoral petition tomorrow. The petition was filed by unsuccessful Opposition candidate, Leaana Ronnie Posini against current MP and Minister of Natural Resources & Environment, Seve Te\u2019i Fuimaono.<\/p>\n The petitioner Leaana provided more than ten witnesses to support his claim that Seve committed bribery by giving money to several voters with the intention to entice their votes.<\/p>\n Seve countered by filing 30 bribery allegations against Leaana and Leaana provided 17 more witnesses to counter the counter petition.<\/p>\n The hearing took 8 days and the court will deliver its decision tomorrow.<\/p>\n Allegations against DPM adjourned<\/strong> The Petitioner Tuiloma Lance Lameko filed bribery allegations against Toelupe who in turn filed 102 bribery allegations against Tuiloma.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Lagi Keresoma\/ Apia, Samoa \u2013 23 October 2025 – The Election Court will deliver its decision on the Safata 1 electoral petition tomorrow.
