Apia, Samoa \u2013 24 October 2025<\/strong> – A man, Kiuga Talouli Levi who is sentenced to life for the murder of a 12-year-old boy who was sleeping inside a mosquito net, is awaiting the Court’s decision on his parole application.<\/p>\n Prosecutor Fuifui Ioane is asking the court to let Levi serve 17 years before he is eligible for parole. The Crimes Ordinance Act says that a prisoner is eligible to parole after serving at least 7 to 10 years based on the years of sentence.<\/p>\n The Prosecutor however argues that Levi\u2019s action was deliberate and premeditated before executing it.<\/p>\n According to court documents, Levi was upset with the deceased\u2019s married sister whom he had an affair with, then planned to end her life.
