After the final count, he took over the lead from Tiatia Laulu Mapesone who won on election night by 2 votes but it did not change the 25-25 tie between HRPP and FAST.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/talamua.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Warrant-of-Election-Signed-by-the-Head-of-State-1.pdf\">Warrant of Election Signed by the Head of State<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/talamua.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/General-Election-Results-Details.pdf\">General Election Results Details<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Palauli 2 seat had been held by senior HRPP member, Faumuin\u0101 Tiatia Liuga for twenty years and having two FAST candidates top the poll this election, reflects the constituency\u2019s mood.<\/p>\n<p>Before the polls, HRPP had nine sure seats. Party leader, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi and Lealailepule Rmoni Aiafi were cleared by the court and returned unopposed. There were seven constituencies that guaranteed HRPP seats as there were no FAST candidates running.<\/p>\n<p>FAST on the other hand, had only its Leader, Fiam\u0113 Naomi Mata\u2019afa who was elected unopposed. \u00a0On election night, HRPP won 23 seats while FAST won 24 and one Independent. \u00a0Those confirmed elected.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FAST PARTY<\/strong><br \/>\n1.
