COMMONWEALTH GAMES VILLAGE, BIRMINGHAM – The President of SASNOC, Pauga Talalelei Pauga, has provided an update on Team Samoa that has “happily and thankfully arrived safely at their final destination, Birmingham, United Kingdom, after 3 days of travelling.”

“Thanks to God for everything,” was how he ended his short update.

“Team Samoa has settled in well after having to go through Covid-19 testing and accreditation,” reports Pauga.

“While in a foreign country, Team Samoa continues to give praise to the Lord through their evening devotionals.

They continue to train to await the official opening of the Commonwealth Games 2022 on Thursday 28 July 2022 at 7pm Birmingham, United Kingdom time, which is 7am Friday morning 29th July 2022, Samoan time.
