Death of Police woman from gun wounds confirmed

APIA, SAMOA – 24 DECEMBER 2022: Police are investigating a homicide incident where an off duty police woman died from gun wounds only a few hours to Christmas.

Police confirmed the incident and the death of the police woman early this morning on their Facebook page saying “Investigations are continuing and her de facto partner is currently being interviewed.”

Police have called on the public’s patience as they continue their investigation.

“We convey our deepest sympathies and condolences to the grieving family.”

Several police officers Talamua spoke with are shocked by the sad news that greeted them this morning and are slowly coming to terms with what has happened, especially so close to Christmas.
