Cabinet Appoints New CEO for the Samoa Housing Corporation

APIA, SAMOA – 17 MARCH 2023: Cabinet has announced the appointment of Sautiamaivasa Funefeai Titimaea Tiotio as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Samoa Housing Corporation for the next three years.

Sautiamaivasa holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the National University of Samoa and has worked in the Corporation since 1999 and climbed the corporate ladder to become the Assistant Chief Executive Officer of since 2020.

A father of five, Sautiamaivasa hails from the villages of Vaisala, Safotu and Aleisa.  He succeeds
Matautia Rula Levi, who completed her tenure as the longest serving CEO of the Corporation, and did not seek reappointment.

Five candidates were interviewed for this position.

The Samoa Housing Corporation was established in 1990 to provide funding access to improve housing and living conditions for families in Samoa.
