20 December 2023: With a few days to Christmas, The LAVA Hotel Samoa hosted a heartwarming Christmas celebration for the vulnerable children under the shelter care of the Samoa Victim Support Group.

The annual event, a cherished tradition at the LAVA Hotel, welcomed the children for a day filled with festive cheer and delightful activities. Led by the newly appointed General Manager, John Flanney, this year’s celebration held special significance, marking his inaugural participation in the heartfelt event.

The jubilant gathering commenced with the enthusiastic Le LAVA staff serenaded the children with Christmas carols, setting the stage for an unforgettable day. The children, filled with enthusiasm, showcased their singing and dancing talents, spreading joy and laughter throughout the event.

Amidst the celebrations, the children were treated to a delightful movie screening, delicious food and followed by the highlight of the day – the distribution of presents by Santa Claus and the dedicated hotel staff.

The children, brimming with excitement and gratitude, reciprocated with a breathtaking dance performance, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all attendees.

The event stirred emotions, with some of the hotel staff moved to tears, witnessing the profound impact of spreading joy and happiness among these remarkable children.

“This annual Christmas celebration has been an exceptional opportunity for the children to experience a world beyond the confines of their daily lives. We are grateful to the General Manger of LAVA Hotel Samoa for providing the children with a memorable and joy-filled experience,” said Siliniu Lina Chang, President of SVSG.

The event not only brought smiles and laughter but also served as a reminder of the power of community and compassion, leaving an enduring impression on both the children and the dedicated staff of the LAVA Hotel Samoa.
