Businesswoman pleads not guilty to possession of Meth

Apia, Samoa – 24 September 2024 – Businesswoman Doris Te’o has pleaded not guilty to the charge of possession of the illegal drug methamphetamine and possession of utensils.

Doris was arrested together with two men in a police raid at Lotopa last week.

Because of the seriousness of the offences, the Court advised them to engage counsels to represent them.

The two men charged were held in custody until they appeared in court yesterday.

Doris was released on bail on the day she was arrested; allegedly due to health issues.
