Stepping Towards Greatness-Lizma Ramona Iloilo is Dux of Tesese Institute 2024
Apia, Samoa – 29 November 2024 – In a moment of pride and accomplishment, Lizma Ramona Iloilo, a 24-year-old student from Lalovaea, Lotofaga, and Samatau, has been named Dux of the Tesese Institute for 2024.
Celebrated for her excellence in the Post School Educational and Training (PSET), Provider for Office Administrative and Computing studies, Lizma expressed delight in making her family and friends proud.
During the graduation ceremony held at the EFKS Hall at Sogi, Lizma shared her insightful perspective on education.
“I believe that education is not just about personal achievement; it’s about giving back and serving those around you,” she said.
She cited her commitment to using her acquired knowledge and skills to contribute positively to her community, family, and to God, whom she credits as her source of strength.
Reflecting on her educational journey, Lizma acknowledged the challenges many students face, whether from academic pressures or balancing work commitments.
Her mantra throughout this journey has been simple yet powerful: “Strive to be the best and put in the effort.” Her dedication has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by her recognition as the top student this academic year.
Looking ahead, Lizma is determined to continue her academic pursuit, stating,
