Petroleum Retail Prices up for December

Apia, Samoa – 02 December 2024 – Petroleum retail prices are up for December. Petrol is up by 7.4 sene from $2.81 to $2.88 sene a litre.

Diesel is up by 12.1 sene from $2.87 to $2.99 sene a litre and Kerosene increases by $9.5 sene from $2.51 to $2.61 sene a litre.

The Ministry of Finance said the market prices bounced around for the month; however the escalation of the crisis in the Middle East and uncertainty regarding the US elections last month combined to ease the petrol prices upwards.

Diesel             $2.99 per litre
