Tavui Lemisio appointed Boxing Competition Manager of 2027 Pacific Games
Apia – SAMOA – 13 June 2026 – Oceania Boxing has congratulated Tavu’i Tautaiolevasamanaia Tanuvasa Mike Lemisio of Samoa on his appointment as Competition Manager for Boxing at the Tahiti 2027 Pacific Games.
Oceania Boxing President Beulah Daunakamakama welcomed the appointment, saying:
“I am delighted to congratulate Tavui on this well-deserved appointment. His leadership, integrity and commitment to sport have earned him the respect of the boxing community across Oceania.
“I have every confidence that his experience in governance and event delivery will contribute to a successful boxing competition at the Tahiti 2027 Pacific Games. On behalf of our Executive Board and Member Federations, I wish him every success and assure him of Oceania Boxing’s full support.”
As 2nd Vice President of Oceania Boxing and President of Independent Boxing Samoa Inc., Tavu’i brings extensive experience in sports administration, governance and event management, supported by more than 20 years of service to sport in Samoa and the Pacific.
A qualified accountant by profession, Tavu’i is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Samoa Post Limited, where he continues to demonstrate outstanding leadership and management capability. His unique combination of executive, financial and sporting experience has earned him the respect of colleagues throughout the Pacific.
Beyond his professional and sporting achievements, Tavui is a devoted husband to Mesepa Lemisio and proud father of two sons. The family resides in Apia, Samoa, where they continue to serve their communities, churches and villages with distinction.
