M4C Life-Con Pacific 2026: Boosting Women’s Creativity & Women-led Businesses

Apia, SAMOA – 7 July 2026 – The Events, Marketing & Distribution (EMD) and UN Women have officially announced their partnership through the Markets for Change (M4C) Project in Samoa.
This will be a major highlight of the upcoming M4C Life-Con Pacific Women’s Market Expo 2026, scheduled from 15 to 18 July.
M4C Life-Con Pacific Women’s Market Expo 2026 is well known in Samoa for showcasing Pacific creativity and talents.
This year Life-Con Pacific celebrates its 9th season since its establishment through showcasing designs specializing in traditional crafts and textile arts.
The M4C project works to advance gender equality by supporting women market vendors in Fiji, Samoa, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu and other Pacific neighbouring countries.

The Events, Marketing & Distribution (EMD) Co. Ltd. partners with UN Women through M4C Life-Con Pacific Women’s Market Expo 2026 9th Season.
According to UN Women the event aims to celebrate creativity, improve market access, develop professional skills, and create valuable networking and business opportunities for women-led businesses from across the Pacific.
UN Women emphasized that the partnership reflects a shared goal of promoting gender equality by empowering women economically.
It aims to create a safer, more inclusive market environment that benefits women entrepreneurs across the Pacific.
Apart from the Pacific, the United States will also participate in this event.
UN Women is leading Phase II of the project in partnership with UNDP in Samoa, Cook Islands, Tokelau, and Niue, with support from the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Government of Samoa.
