Government Introduces New Board Members for Public Bodies

Apia, SAMOA -15 July 2026 – Samoa introduced the bard members for the public enterprises at a special induction ceremony yesterday.
This signals an important step in the government’s development journey, with new leaders set to shape Samoa’s economic and social future.
The event was led by the Acting Prime Minister Mulipola Anarosa Ale-Molio’o, who is also the Minister of Public Enterprises where she urged the new directors to serve with dedication, integrity, and a shared vision for Samoa’s prosperity.
She emphasized that their leadership is vital for strengthening Samoa’s core values of faith, culture, and community.
Mulipola highlighted that every sector and organization contributes to the country’s growth and encouraged the directors to align their efforts with national development goals, including the government’s focus on sustainability outlined in the 2026/2027 budget.
Mulipola stressed that transparency, teamwork, and good governance are essential for delivering services that benefit the people.
She also reminded the directors that their roles extend beyond administration; they are responsible for shaping policies and making impactful decisions.
Facing sensitive issues and community needs will require courage, wisdom, and adherence to lawful conduct.
The induction reaffirmed that their ultimate purpose is to serve Samoa and improve the lives of the people.
