Poumau Ah Lam Tiufea Va’a crowned Miss Samoa 2026–2027

Apia, SAMOA – 6 September 2026 – Poumau Astesclanalesusi Ah Lam Tiufea Va’a was crowned Miss Samoa 2026–2027 at the national pageant at Tuanaimato Gym 1 Saturday night.
Poumau emerged the winner from a field of eight contestants and the new Miss Samoa said she looks forward to serving Samoa in whatever capacity she can.
She acknowledged her sponsor, Sili Eco Farm, as well as her family and friends for supporting her throughout her journey to the crown.
Poumau also claimed the Best Sarong and Best Siva Samoa titles in the competition.
First runner-up went to Millie Rhonda Samuelu of Miss Samoa New South Wales, who also won the People’s Choice, Best Puletasi and Best Interview awards.
The competition included public appearances during the Measina Festival and the contestants were assigned to be supported by various districts during the Floral Parade, bringing the competition close to the community.

First Runner-Up: Millie Rhonda Samuelu (Miss Samoa NSW)
Second Runner-Up: Hope Kaumatule (Miss Samoa Hawaii)
Third Runner-Up: Faatafao Toiaivao (Ms EFKS)
Fourth Runner-Up: Dilimoa Tusani
Miss Samoa Hawaii also received the Best Talent, Best Traditional Wear and Miss Photogenic titles.
Hope Faith Kaumatule, representing Miss Hawaii, also received the Miss National Tourism award, while Queen Sam was named Miss Personality.
Prime Minister La’aulialemalietoa Leuatea Polataivao Fosi Schmidt also announced a change to the role of Miss Samoa.
He clarified that, starting this year, whoever is crowned Miss Samoa will also represent Samoa at other international pageants
