FAST maintains 26 seats as two more election petitions are dismissed

FAST MPs Fepulea'i Fa'asavalu Faimata and Agaseata Valelio Tanuvasa maintain their seats after election petitions were dismissed

APIA, SAMOA – 25 JUNE 2021: Two election petitions against FAST elected members have been dismissed by the Supreme Court this morning.

The first was the petition against Agaseata Valelio Tanuvasa for Aana No.3. but two counts of bribery were proven against the Petitioner, former MP Ili Setefano.

The petition by the Tautua Party Leader, Afualo Wood Salele against elected member Fepuleai Faasavalu Faimata has also been dismissed. However one count of bribery was upheld against the petitioner.
