Attractive salary package linked to Government ACEO level

Our Resort is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, honest, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our finance team in the position of Financial Controller.

You will have a proven track record in Financial Reporting and Financial Operations, within the hospitality or similar environment. You will be working closely with our Finance Manager and operations personnel with a major focus on day to day operations, record and book keeping.

Major Responsibilities as follows;
1. Controlling inventory
2. Oversee Fixed Asset Registered
3. Bank Reconciliation
4. General Ledger Account Reconciliation
5. Assist in preparing monthly Profit & Loss accounts for management meeting
6. Assist in preparing budgets and business planning including projected room revenue
7. Prepare VAGST Return and verify PAYE
8. Manage Daily Cash Flow for payment control
9. Other urgent Financial report request by management
10. Preparing annual accounts for audit

Required Skills;
1. Accounting skills, ideally homed in a hospitality environment
2. Strong working knowledge of accounting systems and IT functions
3. Data Processing skills including spreadsheet package
4. The ability to provide on-going support and training to team members as required
5. Work closely with head of departments to achieve targets
6. Maintain accountability for your tasks

A suitable candidate must have a Degree in Accounting with at least a 3 years of working experience in accounting/auditing field and excellent work and character references.

Salary package comparable to ACEO Government level salary will be based on qualification and working experience.
