Ms. Tapa Creation Maruseana Olivia Kelcey Sititi was chosen by the Alamagoto village where she engaged with the community in building her social skills and better connect with her community.
Although she resides in New Zealand, she is no stranger to competing in such pageants as she competed in a previous competition.
When she arrived at Alamagoto yesterday morning, she was warmly welcomed by the young students at Mrs. Gabriel’s Pre-School greeting her with their singing “that made me feel at home and I felt a bonding with the children and feel more connected to the community.”
She was later welcomed by Reverend Faatafa Nefu and wife Sinuanua of the EFKS Church and had the opportunity to participate in community activities, such as colouring fabrics – Valiga Ie, and sewing.
The day ended with Maruseana performing a Siva Samoa to express her gratitude for the support and welcome she received from the Alamagoto village.
